For those wanting a first look, Legacy has an introductory video on-line free – Legacy  for Beginners The Legacy website has help sections and answers to Frequently Answered Questions.
At meetings, we learn from each other, demonstrating, and asking questions. Some of our members are using associated programmes, for example, Families, which is for mobile devices.
Join us at our regular February 11th, 2015 meeting, and attend our first Genealogical Cocktail Party! (Sorry, no ‘special’ drinks will be served.)

Welcome to a new year!
The first BCGS general meeting of 2015 will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015, 7:30 pm at the Danish Lutheran Church, Downstairs Hall, 6010 Kincaid St., Burnaby, BC. Directions and map (.pdf)
Classes for the January meeting will be the Irish Interest Group and our Genealogy 101 session on Getting Organized.
For those not interested in sitting in on either session, we will have a Question & Answer session in the Main Hall.

If you haven’t yet renewed your BCGS membership for 2015, you can renew your membership for 2015 right now on-line or at the meeting or by mail.
