Downtown Vancouver Genealogy Group meets 8 May, 2012

The next meeting of the BCGS Downtown Vancouver Genealogy Discussion Group is Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 1-3 pm.

We changing things up again so this time we’ll be meeting in the 7th Floor Board Room of the Central Branch, Vancouver Public Library (VPL), 350 West Georgia St. Thank you to VPL’s staff for their co-operation!

Vancouver Genealogy Discussion – bring your latest discoveries and questions. This is a friendly, helpful group – everyone interested in genealogy and family history is welcome.

Also on May 8th at VPL there is a talk by BCGS Scottish facilitator, George Caldwell, on researching in Scotland. HIs talk is from 3 – 4:30 in the Alma VanDusen & Peter Kaye Rooms, Lower Level, VPL Central Library, 350 West Georgia.  For more about his session, see the VPL events calendar.
