‘Trails in Time’ – winner of 2011 BCHF BC Website Award

Walter Volovsek is the winner of the British Columbia Historical Federation’s 2011 BC Website Award for his attractive and useful site, Trails in Time, “dedicated to the contemplative walker”, and offering descriptions of each trail covered, a look at the trails’ construction, and history articles. Lots of photographs, old and new.

Walter Volovsek has been active in both constructing and interpreting local trails and their history and his book, Trails in Time: Reflections, will be published this August, along with his book on Edward Mahon, one of the founders of Castlegar, BC.
