My Ancestor Was A Mormon

TIP – If you are planning on researching family who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons / LDS), see Ian Waller’s book My Ancestor Was A Mormon (BCGS Walter Draycott Library 929’289.3 WAL, published by the Society of Genealogists, 2011). This 281 page book outlines history, indexes and records relevant to your genealogical search, including emigration and colonization, Utah records, and specific early Church records including membership. The book is illustrated, and includes a bibliography and indexes of subjects, sources, places and ships mentioned, as well as of all individuals named in the book.
