Attend the BCGS Open House Sunday, July 14 from 2-4 pm at the BCGS Walter Draycott Library in Surrey, BC. Refreshments. All interested are welcome to attend. A feature this year will be a look at the new Members’ Only area of this website.

The annual BCGS free Library Week is Monday, July 15 to Saturday, July 20, open 10 am to 3 pm. Different geographic areas and talks featured each day, but drop in and ask for assistance with your particular search any of the days.

The Library has over 14,000 worldwide books and CDs, and much more including journals and magazines, microfilm and fiche, and unique indexes and collections. Subscription databases available free to visitors now include Ancestry Library Edition, Genealogical Research Library and American Ancestors – and new this month is access to Geni.com. Come and check these sites out.

Our thanks to HomeLife Select Realty which is allowing us extra parking spots for Library Week this year. Look for parking spots numbered 211 and 212.  A library volunteer will give you a pass to place on your dashboard.
