The Surrey Family History Centre is now on regular hours of opening which are:

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 9 pm
Wednesdays from 10 am to 6 pm

Family History Center volunteers will help you with finding your ancestors and entering them in Family Tree at  Many new resources are available.

Family Tree Patron Seminar – Wednesday, September 18th, 2013 – two sessions: one at 7 pm and another at 8 pm – Family Tree is available to everyone.
This class is for people who have never used Family Tree; it will be a hands on class with several people to assist you. Registration limited to 9 people per session. It will be best if you go to and register prior to the class. If you can’t do that you need to bring the username and password that you use to access your email from a webmail server. You need this to activate the FamilySearch account. You will learn how to navigate around the Tree and how to add information.

You must bring as much as you know about the first 2 generations of ancestors. To link you to your pedigree you need to get back to someone no longer living.
