WHO WE ARE

BCGS Quebec Group pamphlet

We’re an informal group of amateur genealogists who research in a variety of areas – Filles à Marier, Filles du Roi, Carignan-Salières Regiment, Acadians, Hessians, UEL, French-Canadians, as well as Scots, English and Irish in Quebec.

We meet monthly on Saturday mornings (see the BCGS Calendar for dates) in the Board Room at the BCGS Walter Draycott Library and Resource Centre In Surrey.

If you live in the Vancouver area or if you’re going to be in the area, come and meet other researchers and share your successes and brick walls over a cup of coffee.

There’s a drop-in fee of $2.00 which goes towards purchasing Quebec resources which are housed in the BCGS library. BCGS membership is not required.

If you’d like more information, please e-mail Linda Maitland.
