The resources of the individual Libraries vary, but Public Libraries with more on-line resources for genealogy purposes include the Vancouver City Central Library Branch, and the City of Surrey Cloverdale Branch, New Westminster Public Library and Prince George Public Library. Many libraries have indexes to local newspapers and some have on-site access to useful genealogy and history databases, like Ancestry Library Edition (ProQuest) and Heritage Quest; some offer local lookup services.
