Tips for Surname Interest Submissions
When submitting your surnames, please be concise and give clear indications of the period and the area(s) that your family lived in.
Please use the full place names for Country, Province/County and Town. Do not abbreviate.
Please be specific, remember that any name with an ill-defined location (e.g. “SMITH in England”) is unlikely to provide you with any contacts since so many of us have a “SMITH” in our family trees somewhere in England!
If you wish to make changes to information you previously submtted, please fill out the “Notes” section below.
See below the form for additional tips and useful links for geographical areas, etc.
NOTE, for Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland the following symbols are used [IN] = Irish name [FN] = Former name [P] = Province
NOTE, Australia From 1926 to 1931, Central Australia existed as a separate territory between the 20th and 26th parallels of latitude, before being reincorporated into the Northern Territory.
