Saturday, November 3, 1:00–5:00 pm, Cloverdale (Surrey), BC
Co-sponsors: the British Columbia Genealogical Society and the Cloverdale Branch, Surrey Public Library
Join our panel of Experts, M. Diane Rogers, Brenda Smith, and Peter Whitlock, who will share their thoughts on overcoming difficult Family History challenges.
The panel members will then individually meet attendees who have submitted questions for 1-on-1 fifteen minute consultations.
During the 1-on-1 sessions Librarian Paul MacDonell will present (to the main group) ‘Librarian Secrets: Easy(ish) Resources for Family Historians’. The workshop covers various information resources that aren’t strictly for family historians but are nonetheless valuable genealogy tools. A light meal and refreshments will be provided free of charge.
