Progeny’s Charting Companion Software:

As of July 2016, Progeny’s Charting Companion is compatible with the new version of Family Tree Maker. And Charting Companion 6.4 appears on the Plugin menu of Family Tree Maker (click on “Tools, Plugins”). As of 2016 The Software MacKiev Company is publishing Family Tree Maker, both the PC and Mac versions. Previously Family Tree Maker was an product.

Charting Companion is also compatible with versions of Ancestral Quest, Family Historian, GEDCOM (all programs), Legacy Family Tree, Personal Ancestral File (PAF) and Roots Magic (ver. 4 and later).
Charting Companion also offers versions compatible with data from these websites: MyHeritage,, OneGreatFamily and FamilySearch.
