BCGS TOUR – Vancouver City Archives – April 12, 2012

City of Vancouver Archives Tour - BCGS Group 2010BCGS Group at the City of Vancouver Archives, 2010

The BCGS Education Committee has organized another tour of the Vancouver City Archives – up to 20 participants can be accommodated. The date is April 12, 2012.  On the tour you’ll get a chance to see more than most visitors do, and you’ll have time for your own research too.

There is some free parking available at the Archives, and also a paid parking lot (we’ll double check closer to the tour date). Please meet in the lobby of the Archives at 9:50 am,
so we can start on time at 10:00 am. After the tour is finished, participants will be able to continue to research until 5:00 pm.

Our two 2010 tours were very popular, so If you’d like to attend, please email Eunice at
eunice @ dccnet.com or contact the BCGS webmaster to reserve a place.

The City of Vancouver Archives website has photographs and documents on-line and you can search the catalogues too before we visit.
