Airmiles

If you don’t collect Airmiles for yourself you should collect them for BCGS. Every mile helps. When many people collect together, they all add up. The miles are used to buy supplies for the library or groceries for intermission at meetings or chats. Ask the fundraising committee for an Airmiles card.

The number is: 8901 121 8033.

Book Donations

It may not seem like fund-raising but when a book is donated the library grows. Donations of a genealogical nature are always welcome. If, by chance, we already have the book, we will return it to you or offer it to our members. We are especially interested in old phone books, directories and school annuals.

Recycling

Save your bottles, cans and containers that need to be recycled and donate the refund to BCGS. Members, their families and friends can drop off recycling items at their local Return-It-Express Center. Use the BCGS phone number - 604.502.9119 to print up to 6 labels to attached to each bag. If everyone pitches in we can save some money.

Charitable Giving

Do you feel like you are missing something?

Charitable giving is not just a great tax deduction, it is also a way to express gratitude for the good things in your life. Helping others can make you feel good. Giving, whether financially or with your time will definitely make someone smile. Donations have gone a long way towards keeping our society running for almost 50 years.

For information on what and how to give, please contact us at info@bcgs.ca or 604-502-9119.
