10 April 2024 at 7:30PM.

Guest Speaker: Our presentation is Walter Udell speaking on The Joy of Discovery.
Walter was raised in the interior of B.C. in a log house. His mother was a war bride from London. His paternal heritage was obscure, due in part to the destruction of his grandparent’s house in 1937 in an Albertan prairie fire. In his mid 20s he started an occasional search for his heritage and was richly rewarded over the years, discovering a wealth of information, pictures and books. He will share some of those discoveries with those interested in attending.

BCGS Members' Virtual Meeting & AGM
Our next BCGS members’ meeting will be via Zoom.us on
13 March 2024 at 7:30PM.
Join the meeting between 7 & 7:30 when Members chat and share.
AGM and Members’ Meeting
After the AGM, there will be a presentation by Walter Udell, The Joy of Discovery
An invitation from the BCGS to the meeting, using Zoom, will be sent to members.
Watch your inbox for more details about the website address,
meeting number and password.
If you don’t receive the email by the day before the meeting, please contact info@bcgs.ca.
Each member needs a 'free' Zoom account to participate. Go to www.zoom.us to sign up for your free account.

“The way of knowledge is like our old way of hunting. You begin with a mere trail – a footprint. If you follow that faithfully, it may lead you to a clearer trail – a track – a road. Later on there will be many tracks, crossing and diverging one from the other. Then you must be careful, for success lies in the choice of the right road.”
