Presentation – Deciphering Historical Handwriting (Palaeography 101) – Kathie Ross

Have you ever struggled to read a historical document or census entry? Then join Kathie for an introduction to early modern handwriting transcription. This workshop will provide you with an understanding of the different hands use in older handwriting, help you to decipher historical documents and provide tips and tricks to assist your transcription. You will have the opportunity to practice what you are learning and have some fun!
